  Dance Star Mickey’s Valentine’s Day Disney Treasure Dance Star Mickey digs up 1986 Disney’s Valentine’s Special. Sometimes lasting memories are made from very obscure, unremarkable happenings that somehow bombard life at the same time. In 1986, Disney created a made-for-TV-movie for Valentine’s Day about “Love”. It featured many of our favorite Disney Characters- Mickey, Minnie, Pluto,Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket just to mention a few. It was set to the music of the 80’s featuring the likes of Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, and Whitney Houston. It was another long, cold, and snowy winter, with lots of snow days for the kids. We taped the Disney Treasure and watched it regularly for months and years to come. It will always be remembered as one of the best times of childhood because of the snowy weather and the year that Disney’s Valentine’s Special was the best ever. Now the Disney Valentine’s Special is a Classic however, it is not available on DVD. There are many wonderful Disney Valentine’s movies that are available, along with special Valentine surprises for those very important people in your life. Don’t forget to say “I Love You” this year with that perfect gift.
